Description

This theme features maximizing the use of images as a way to give a site a unique look.
It does this by creating a layout that adapts well to a variety of different header videos and header images as well as background images.
It also gives users the option to decide how to allow mobile browsers to utilize images and videos.
Users may find that they can create a unique look by just uploading a video and a few images. Finally, it includes a sticky navbar and slidepanel menu for mobile browsers.

Installation

  1. In your admin panel, go to Appearance > Themes and click the Add New button.
  2. Click Upload Theme and Choose File, then select the theme's .zip file. Click Install Now.
  3. Click Activate to use your new theme right away.

  • Updated the open and close icons html in header.php to include a height and width. Tested WordPress 6.6. No other updates appeared necessary.

1.7.2 - February 17 2021

  • I reset the sticky sidebar so that the left side will always be longer than the right side. bb-indie-left now has minimum heights when the sidebar sticks. This class is always active when there is a sidebar, and I fixed a problem with background shadow not being shown when there are no results on a search on phone screens, and I updated the 404 page so the entire js file is active.

1.7.1 - February 12 2021

  • I added a control to give the option to remove the shadow from behind the title, and I updated the header file, so if the blog feed is set on the home page, when it goes to subsequent pages the header media and down arrow will be removed. I also added alts to all of the the social media icons, and I added the pinterest and yelp icons. Finally, I updated the text side of the header media and text so that it expands to a 100% width.

  • I updated the instructions for the background copy ALL control, and I added a mobile friendly background image control, and I added some tags to the style sheet.

  • Rewrote booleans before lines 229 and 236 of main js file to remove errors being printed to the console, and I moved checkMediaFit inside add_action, and I added the footer social media link options to the customizer, and I updated the footer style. I also updated the text width to 100% for media and text block.

  • I made the top and bottom margin of bb-aligncenter consistent with top and bottom margin of bb-alignleft, and I updated the color sheme of the buttons, and I darkened the background of bb-popout.
