How it works

After activation, visit WooCommerce → Peligent. Paste your Peligent Connect Secret, click "Save & Connect to Peligent". The plugin saves the secret, generates/uses the stored credentials, and sends them to Peligent.

Installation

  1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory or install via the WordPress Plugins screen.
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' screen in WordPress.
  3. Go to WooCommerce → Peligent.
  4. Paste your Peligent Connect Secret.
  5. Click "Save & Connect to Peligent" and follow the redirect to your Peligent dashboard.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is data sent securely?

Yes. The plugin posts over HTTPS to https://app.peligent.com with your Connect Secret in the X-Peligent-Connect-Token header.

What capabilities does the generated user have?

The plugin ensures the generated user has Administrator role in order to manage WooCommerce resources and users where required by automation. You can revoke it from the settings page at any time.

Where do I find the Peligent Connect Secret?

In your Peligent dashboard under Websites → Connect Secret.

External Services

This plugin connects to the Peligent API service (https://app.peligent.com) to send WooCommerce REST API credentials and establish the connection between your WooCommerce store and your Peligent account.

What data is sent and when:

  • WooCommerce REST API key credentials (consumer key and consumer secret)
  • Application user credentials (username and application password)
  • Store URL and connection token

This data is sent only when you click "Save & Connect to Peligent" button in the plugin settings page, or when the connection is automatically established during activation if a connect token is already configured.

The connection is made over HTTPS with your Peligent Connect Secret included in the request headers for authentication.
