Frequently Asked Questions
Do backups run automatically?
YES! Once activated, SafeSnap creates automatic backups every 24 hours. Both database AND files are backed up. You can see when the next backup runs on the dashboard.
How do I restore a backup?
Click "Restore" next to any backup in the dashboard. You can restore:
- Database only
- Files only
- Both (complete restore)
What gets backed up?
Both database AND files:
- Database: All tables, posts, settings, everything
- Files: Themes, plugins, uploads (everything in wp-content)
Where are backups stored?
Backups are stored in /wp-content/uploads/safesnap/backups/ on your server. This directory is protected with .htaccess to prevent web access.
